Morah Chaya Baron- Director

Morah Chaya Baron- Director

Morah Chaya holds a Teacher of Judaics Degree from Beth Chana, and a Degree in Behavioral Science and Education from Mercy College.

Chaya is an enthusiastic learner and shares her passion for learning and Judaism with the children. Education is in her blood, as Chaya comes from a family of educators, with her mom being a preschool director.

It is her belief that connection is the birthplace of all learning and growth. Her goal for all students at Aleph Academy is to support the natural connection children have with G-d, the Torah, and the world around them. It is her belief that all children deserve a healthy education predicated on mutual respect.

When Chaya is not at school, she works together with her husband Sruli on Young Adult programming for the Synagogue they founded together in Everett. You will also find her with her 3 beautiful children who keep her on her toes!


Morah Megan Stanton

Morah Megan Stanton- Preschool Teacher

Morah Meg has received her degree from the University of Vermont and has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 25 years.

She worked as a teacher for the first half of her career, and then co-founded and co-directed a non-profit, cooperative preschool in East Boston for 7 years.

She believes in personalized learning for each child to ignite their curiosity, wonder, and the desire to want more. She is passionate about social- emotional development, critical thinking, and creativity through the power of play.

Outside of school, Meg loves spending time with her partner, John, her son, Jack (14), her daughter, Maggie (11) and their scaredy cat, Izzy (she’s afraid of everything!). They enjoy spending lots of time outdoors whether at their cabin in New York or on the beaches of Cape Cod where she grew up. She is also an avid reader, traveler, and sports fan.


Morah Hela Nathan

Morah Hela Nathan - Judaics Teacher

Hela Nathan received her degree in Education from the University of Minnesota in 2010.

Hela grew up surrounded by educators, and from a young age dreamed of becoming a teacher.

She loves being in a classroom where children are discovering new ways of thinking and learning about the world around them and finds it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow daily in their emotional awareness and capacity for compassion.

She enjoys being a part of the development and growth of each child through their years at Aleph Academy.

When she in not in the classroom, Hela is connecting with her own five children, including triplet girls(!), walking the promenade by King’s Beach, and reading.


Morah Lynn Tabak

Morah Lynn Tabak-Toddler Room Teacher

Morah Lynn holds a degree in early childhood education and nursing.

Lynn has been involved in education for 27 years! Through conversation and open-ended questions, Lynn is deeply committed to helping children learn how to investigate their world, find solutions to their problems, and express their thoughts and ideas in positive and creative ways.

Lynn holds a profound respect for each of her students and help foster their individuality. Aside for the teaching she does in the classroom, Lynn also teaches, yoga, swimming, sailing, and skating! When she is not busy with the above, Lynn enjoys knitting, sowing, skating, and reading!


Morah Kaylie Mcgrath

Morah Kaylie Mcgrath- Toddler Room Teacher

Morah Kaylie is completing her degree in early childhood education. She is a warm and devoted teacher who strongly believes in the great potential of each child.

Before joining the Aleph Academy family, Kaylie enjoyed working in various local community programs including a sports program, kids club, and summer camp. Kaylie also regularly volunteers for her church’s nursery and Sunday-school programs.

Kaylie is passionate about working at Aleph because of the wonderful warm community it provides. Kaylie feels blessed to work with the children in her classroom, they bring her daily joy!

When she is not in the classroom Kaylie is an avid reader, she currently is reading all the classics! Kaylie also enjoys writing.
